Haaga-Helia at Gastro Helsinki – Finland’s most important event for the restaurant and food industries

The largest and most important food and restaurant trade event in Finland is held at Messukeskus in Helsinki from 14 to 16 March 2018 featuring more than 300 companies and more than 200 performers.

The event’s programme will focus on the cornerstone of restaurants, professional kitchens and cafes: service and its improvement and includes Finnish national championships – chefs, waiting staff and school meals.

This year Gastro has a new area - specialising in beverages, Gastro Helsinki Wine, Beer and Spirits.

The Haaga-Helia and especially the Haaga campus take part at the Gastro Helsinki event by having the showroom (6b90 and 6h61) showcasing culinary management studies and the award-winning Box - a cross-disciplinary project developing sensory-stimulating technologies for service design, marketing and product development.
