Multilizer has launched a research for professional translators. The research concentrates on studying machine translation quality from language and translation professionals' point of view.
Machine translation is developed to automate translation work. The benefits of using machine translation are that any translation can be made quickly and affordably. The main depate has been around the quality. While machine translation quality has mostly been good enough for understanding foreign language content, it still hasn't reached the quality requirements set for professional translation tools.
The main focus of the research is on comparing raw and qualified machine translation. Qualified machine translation uses modern language technologies that both qualifies automatic translations and selects the best available translation automatically. The goal is to see whether the machine translation could be improved with new technologies in a way that translation professional could utilize it in their everyday work.
Multilizer invites all the professional English to Spanish translators to participate this translation quality research. It takes only approximately 10 minutes to go through all the questions. All the participants will join a draw of two Amazon gift cards. The research is available online now and it closes on 1st December, 2012. Enter the research here: http://tinyurl.com/8lfhohf
