Santa Banana coming to town this Christmas

News   •   Dec 27, 2013 05:30 GMT

Defying every conventional image of how a Santa Claus looks like, 27-year-old magician-turned Santa Banana from Hong Kong shows that a big, generous heart is all what it takes to be the World’s Best Father Christmas.

At the 2013 Santa Winter Games held annually in the small mining town of Gällivare in Sweden, Santa Banana outshone his thirteen other Santa rivals from around the world to be crowned as the World’s Best Santa. Besides a sweeping victory from every category which included mechanical bull riding, a slalom race, a sleigh and sack race, a porridge-eating competition and carol-singing, he was also voted as the winner of the first People's Favourite Award online.

gbtimes recently sat down with him to have a sneak peek into this latest Santa arrival from the Far East.
