We are happy to inform that Ragnheiður Elín Árnadóttir, Minister of Industry and Commerce Iceland, will speak at Arctic Frontiers Policy. Árnadóttir is the Icelandic minister of Industry and Commerce since May 2013. She has worked for the Icelandic Council of Export (1995-98), and was political advisor to the Icelandic Minister of Finance (1998 - 2005), the Minister of Foreign Affairs (2005-2006), and the Prime Minister (2006-2007). Árnadóttir was elected head of the Icelandic Conservative Party on Alþingi Íslands in 2007, and was head of the democratic group for this party from 2010 to 2012. During Arctic Frontiers will, among other issues, launch the study: North Atlantic Energy Network.
Árnadóttir holds a Bachelors degree in comparative politics from the University of Iceland (1991), and a Master of Science in international relations from Georgetown University, USA (1994).
