The Tromsø based Norwegian group The Band Called Oh! has received outstanding critiques. Inspired by the likes of D’Angelo, Erykah Badu and Common; the band has a funky neo-soul sound, a sound that, since their live debut in February 2011 has proven to be a real winner with the crowds. Since their first EP “Lesson One” (released in October 2011), the group has focused all their efforts on live performances, giving over a hundred concerts all over NorwayThe Arctic Frontiers delegates will have the pleasure of experiencing The Band Called Oh! during the evening event on Wednesday January 27.

In February 2014 The Band Called Oh! sold out in two different venues, two nights in a row, during the renowned music industry convention by:Larm in Oslo. The bands full length debut album “Stereosoul” (2014) was co-produced with the Norwegian hip-hop royalty Poppa Lars. This album was nominated for the Norwegian Grammys.
