Apple to help mobile payment adoption? On September 9 we will know.

More and more articles, blogs and rumors indicates that Apple will launch mobile payments using NFC and TouchID authentication on their iPhone 6 event on September 9.

If the company has managed to get agreements with Visa, Mastercard and American Express including same (or lower) fees and no liability shift for merchants, then this could be a great next step in customer adoption of mobile payments.
