Nytt programstyre i CLIMIT

Energy Policies of IEA Countries - Sweden -- 2013 Review

IEA: Sweden has made progress in recent years towards a more secure, sustainable energy future. The Scandinavian nation already has an almost carbon-free electricity supply and has phased out oil use in residential and power sectors. It is increasingly integrated within the Nordic and Baltic electricity markets, and its joint renewable electricity certificate market with Norway offers a unique model for other countries. Les mer

Norwegian Sea Can Hold 100 Years of Norway's CO2 Emissions

Scientific American: Norway could store 100 times its annual emissions of carbon dioxide under the Norwegian Sea to help fight climate change, adding to its even bigger potential under the North Sea, an official report showed on Friday. Les mer

DOE sponsored project at Ohio University tests CCS with chemical looping

CarbonCaptureJournal: - Researchers at The Ohio State University (OSU) have successfully completed more than 200 hours of continuous operation of their patented Coal-Direct Chemical Looping (CDCL) technology - a one-step process to produce both electric power and high-purity carbon dioxide (CO2).
