Pressemelding   •   jul 09, 2013 01:04 CEST

Som et ledd i oppkjøringen til VM i Puebla - Mexico, er landslaget nå på en  10 dagers treningssamling i høyden. Her kommer en liten statusrapport fra trener

Dave Cook:
There are many teams from around the world using La Loma  as their Pre-Championship holding camp inc. Brazil, Peru, Chile, Serbia, Ukraine, Germany, Isle of Man, Egypt, Mongolia, Qatar and Ukraine.

Upon arrival Team Norge entered in to their acclimatisation period characterised by  relatively low intensity activity. Yet it is testament to the athletes fitness  levels that they were able to participate in all-team sparring session on only their second day of camp, by day 4 they had already banked 14 rounds of sparring  against the varied nations.

The remaining 5 days of camp will be divided between conditioning, pad and hogu drills, sparring with Brazil (8th) and  various teams on 10th and one-on-one individual sessions to sharpen specific
characteristics of the respective athletes game play. The team will then travel  to Puebla on the 12th July.
