In-App-Marketing proves efficiency More than 35 % of users clicked on ad in Numo Trial

February 17, 2011 – GSMA Barcelona, Spain. Numo, the innovative mobile application company in Scandinavia, today disclosed compelling result from its first trials of In-App-Advertising campaign.

“Over the last few weeks, we have been trialing different solutions of in-app- advertising throughout our product portfolio, and we are proud to see that we have experienced that above 35% of the users clicked on the ad”, says Trond Ingebretsen, CEO at Numo AS. “This shows that a smart ad that is correctly presented in the right application is a very cost effective way of spending marketing money.”

The most  efficient campaign in this trial was a campaign in cooperation with Opera Software where ads for the world’s most used mobile browser -  Opera Mini - was integrated into Numo products.  The campaign ran over 20 days and different messages and solutions were tested.

“It was definitely interesting to see that we could reach as high as up to 35 % of users clicking the ad in our cooperation with Numo.  We are still in our early phase – but it is clear that we will increase our investments in advertising“, says Angus Thompson, Marketing Manager, Opera Software.
