A small local start up in Oslo have had a very good start to their crowdfunding campaign through FundedByMe. Live CrowdFunding Event took part on October 13, hosted by Oslo Innovation Week, where Bandify pitched their business idea in front of competent jury. Just after couple of days into the campaign they have reached 60% of their funding goal.

Equity Crowd Funding is a new phenomenon that has showed incredible potential in Norway and Sweden the last few years. Platforms such as FundedByMe, give anyone the opportunity to invest in a startup and become a part of its success. The platform offer each startup a campaign page where they can pitch their idea in movie format and upload their business plans and various other details. It has fused millions Euro of investments from investors across all of the Europe and we are witnessing a whole new industry emerging with new entrepreneurs achieving their visions and dreams with the help of crowdfunding.

Bandify feel honored to be part of this great movement. Bandify is an app for anyone playing an instrument, regardless of skill or network, to find people in their local area to meet up and jam with. Additional integrations are Events, which lets users post happenings of various forms to gather attention around their band and meet other likeminded people. In the future the team has dreams of expanding the platform to become the next big social network for musicians – who involves heaps of additional content and focus on personalization, extended branding of bands and forms of monetization.

Campaign is still live and available for investors
