Bergans Rabot 365 Hybrid Pants is proclaimed Winner in the ISPO Awards 2019

Bergans Rabot 365 Hybrid Pants is announced as winner in the ISPO Award category; Outdoor ­­– Outer Layer Hybrid. The innovative product has been rewarded for its versatile use and sustainable materials.

Rabot 365 Collection is one of Bergans’ biggest fall/winter 19/20 news. The Rabot collection consists of highly technical and robust hiking clothing that allows you to experience nature year-round, regardless of the weather conditions.

The durable nylon outer fabric in combination with insulating and protective inner fabrics makes the Hybrid Pants a very good representative for the Rabot 365 collection as a whole. The ISPO Award Jury also fancy Bergans’ choice of more sustainable materials for the pants. Their reasoning for picking Rabot 365 Hybrid Pants is said as follows:

– The Bergans Rabot 365 Hybrid Pant is a very versatile and sustainable hiking pants. The jury appreciated the natural merino fibers as backer,bonded on durable recycled nylon shell fabric inside, to avoid micro plastic in the environment when washed.

Product Designer Ingema Vik in Bergans is happy that sustainable and innovative material combinations is valued.

– On the Rabot 365 we have really twisted our minds and rethought every little detail to reach the top level of protection and comfort. The award-winning Hybrid Pants is a great example on this. THIS IS BERGANS RABOT 365 HYBRID PANTS

Tough and protective yet soft and snug! Rabot 365 Hybrid Pants is a pair of softshell pants made from recycled polyamide, that offers a little extra something. The smartness lies in the reinforcements in the seat area and on the knees. These have waterproof Cordura on the outside and insulating merino wool on the inside, which is just perfect when sitting on cold and wet surfaces. Moisture absorbent material at the inside of the waistband also contributes to the pants high level of comfort.

Fabric:
Recycled Polyamide fabric with 2-way stretch, and 4-way waterproof softshell with Cordura face and Merino wool backing at the back and knees. Both with PFAS-free WR. Comfortable and quick-drying moisture absorption material inside waistband. The product contains bluesign® approved fabrics.

Pockets:
Zippered front pockets and thigh pocket.

Additional features:
Velcro- adjustable waist. Belt loops. Taped seams on waterproof material. Reinforced section at bottom. Shaped and wide waistband. Recco® reflector on left leg.
