Welcome to yet another fantastic World Championships day in Holmenkollen. Below you can find practical information about today’s events. We hope you have a great World Championships day with us.

Today’s competitions:
The time difference from the sprint event determines the start order for the individual competitors in the pursuit event. This event is open to the 60 best finishers from the sprint. The distances are 10 km for women and 12.5 km for men, and all competitors must perform four bouts of shooting (prone, prone, standing, standing). Competitors must complete one 150-metre penalty loop for each target missed.

Get there early
Today the arena opens at 10.30. We recommend that you arrive at Holmenkollen when the arena opens. Take extra time into account – we’re expecting a huge, cheering crowd! The first competition starts at 13.30.

Getting to Holmenkollen
The metro is free from Oslo city centre and up to Holmenkollen on the day your ticket applies. Use metro line 1 or the extra departures to Holmenkollen station. Note that there are no parking spaces at Holmenkollen, so please use the metro.

After the competitions
It can take some time to get from Holmenkollen to Oslo city centre after the competitions, and metro queues must be expected. If you want to avoid these, you can delay your departure at the after-ski in the spectator pavilion, or walk to Oslo city centre. The spectator pavilion closes at 9 p.m.

Concerts and medal ceremonies
The Medal Plaza and Biathlon Park will be buzzing with activity after today’s competitions.The concerts start at 6 p.m. today, and the medal ceremony starts at 8 p.m. We recommend getting there early to have a good view of the stage.
