Winter’s most wonderful adventure launches on 11.11.11

Winter in Blue Mountain, a new Nintendo DS™ game for the entire family!

The game is developed by acclaimed Ravn Studio and based on Gudny Ingebjørg Hagen’s fantastic Nisse universe, as made famous by the Christmas calendar on NRK, books and CD’s. With original music by Geir Bøhren and Bent Aaserud.

We’ve worked carefully to capture the identity and atmosphere of Blue Mountain, in combination with giving the player the ultimate experience”, says Tinka Town, Creative Director and one of the founders of Ravn Studio. “Our goal have been to create a game that the player want to play over and over again”, adds Stine Wærn, CEO and one of the founders of Ravn Studio.

Winter in Blue Mountain is a fun and exciting platform game, that challenges the player to explore both inside the caves of the mountain and outside in the snowy landscape. The game features both fast jumping platform gameplay and high speed sledging action down the snowy slopes of the mountain.

The Nintendo DS™ game Winter in Blue Mountain will be available at retailers who carry video games for kids and families in Norway on the 11th of November. The game is published and distributed by PAN Vision.

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure!

Ravn Studio has also, together with Rock Pocket, and in close cooperation with NRK/Cappelen Damm, developed a calendar app for iPhone and iPad. For each day there’s a new activity, game sequence, adventure or other exciting surprise. The history is told by the author Gudny Ingebjørg Hagen herself. The app is available on the App Store during week 46/47.
