1965: “Help!” by the Beatles, a television culture and peace marches. It is to this year that the Centro Stile dedicates the latest stainless steel Sambonet flatware collection. Even though its name derives itself from the years of the economic boom, 1965 flatware has even older roots. Its contemporary design calls upon decoration, grace and the ornamental taste typical of classical flatware. The stylistic contrast between past and present even finds continuity on fork, knife and spoon surfaces. The flat front of the handle corresponds to a gently curved back. In addition to giving character to the line, this distinctive detail enhances the thickness of the stainless steel, adding fullness to the flatware. The softness and roundness of forms make each piece easy to hold, rendering the collection extremely functional and perfect for everyday use. The romantic 1965 Sambonet flatware comes in 24 and 36 pieces sets in a polished mirror finish and the nostalgic vintage edition. The vintage edition finish is made by an innovative mechanical processing technique used on the flatware surface, entirely made in Italy.
