Zenitel brings its superior intelligible audio to Nor-Shipping 2017

Another successful Nor-Shipping has drawn to a close, with green shipping and sustainability a key focus. Zenitel demonstrated how its Vingtor-Stentofon EXIGO PA/GA system, Turbine IP Intercom stations, and new, crystal-clear hi-fi background music & information system, address the ever-changing communication needs of customers, with superior intelligibility,reliability and scalability.

Nor-Shipping, the premier maritime exhibition in Norway, has drawn to a close for 2017. It ran from May 30-June 2, in Lillestrøm and, as usual, attracted maritime industry players from around the world.

A green future for shipping

Green shipping was a key focus this year, providing a unique opportunity for established companies and up-and-comers to come together and explore how the maritime industry can take a pro-active approach to create change from within and make a positive impact on the world we live in.

We saw many novel solutions for energy usage, operation and design, through innovative technologies and novel business models across a wide range of fields, including autonomy, robotics, additive manufacturing, virtual reality and biology.

Nor-Shipping’s pioneering exhibition on Disruptive Sustainability galvanized dialogue, educated and inspired, challenged and provoked. What we saw confirms our belief that we are on the right track toward more sustainable approaches. For example, we’re very proud of Zenitel's contribution to the first biodiesel plug-in hybrid ferry.

Meeting needs, surpassing expectations

We hope all our visitors this week also engaged with the emphasis on green shipping and sustainability at this year’s event.
