Zenitel talks cybersecurity at Tekna seminar

Tekna invites Zenitel’s Tom-André Tarlebø (right in the photo, with Martin Helleland and Paal Olufsen of Nor Electronics) to speak about cybersecurity and Critical Communication over IP.

ekna, a Norwegian union for graduate technical and scientific professionals, held a seminar yesterday in Stavanger, Norway. The topic was digitalization and IT security within the Norwegian Oil and Gas Industry. This one-day Tekna seminar targeted decision makers and specialists who want to take part in the digital evolution of this industry.

Tom-André Tarlebø, Zenitel's Commercial Product Manager for Oil and Gas / Industrial, was invited by Tekna.as a featured seminar speaker. His presentation covered everything from safety vs. functionality and cyber threats to protection mechanisms and best practices.

Helleland serves on the program committee, which planned and managed the whole seminar.
