Saltwater Commercial Workboats have just delivered 5 x 8m hydrographical survey barges to the government of Myanmar. These were a custom design and are an excellent example of our design and building capabilities. Featuring the new OXE 200hp diesel outboard they achieve a speed of 28 knots and were extremely stable offering a safe working environment.

OXE Diesel engines are the only outboards that are compliant with the emission regulations established by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), European Union (EU) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB). The OXE 175 and OXE 200 also complies with the EIAPP. All models are also compliant with IMO Tier II, EPA Tier 3 and RCD.

OXE Marine was founded in 2012, and is the company behind a patented outboard transmission, enabling the use of high torque diesel engines on outboard systems and in sterndrive solutions.

During 2016 OXE Marine launched OXE Diesel. The world’s first high-performance diesel outboard engine, setting new standards for durability, fuel-efficiency and low emissions for outboard engines between 125 to 200 hp. In 2020 OXE plans to launch a more powerful OXE diesel engine with 300 hp.
