Our client is a leading national water treatment and hygeine firm with a respected name in the industry.  Due to expansion they currently have opens for account managers to join the team across the South East, however individuals will need to come from a water hygeine or treatment background and have excellent customer facing skills.

Identify potential new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients directly and via operational teams.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  1. Account Management
  • Liaison with clients – responsibility for client (profitability, management of financial account of client, delivery, compliance and retention)
  • Assist with the mobilisation of contracts – production of contract brief
  • Management of existing and new contracts, as allocated
  • Contract reviews, including the collation of information for meetings
  • Complaints handling
  • ORT training and Legionella training for clients
  • Assisting with the production of clients legionella policy and procedure documents
  • Production of job costing and quotation for exception reports/as client required
  • Conduct LCA reviews with client
  • Work with operations to meet customer needs
  1. Business Development
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing clients 
  • Sales strategy for existing clients (mainly getting additional works)
  • Presentations to new clients, as required (i.e. Legionella Awareness)
  • Present new products and services, and enhance existing relationships
  1. Liaison with clients
  • Serve as an interface between the client and the Company
  • Attend and manage contract review meetings
  • Builds effective working relationships with clients generating additional workloads wherever possible
  • Reducing the clients management time in relation to our business
  • Dealing with client requests
  • Communicating client agendas and requirements to other members of staff (including the creation and delivery of Contract Briefs)
  • Ensures that image and standards are maintained at all times
  1. Contractual Liabilities
  • Ensures contractual responsibilities are observed and adhered to
  • Ensures compliance is adhered to throughout by way of monthly compliance audits
  1. Tendering (for contract renewals/as requested)
  • Contract Tender alerts
  • Providing assistance in the production of Contract Pre-Qualification and Tender Documents – including budget creation
  • Confirming final drafts and submission of regional tenders
  • Attend customer sites and meetings in order to prepare tender documentation for major works and services.
  • Calculate job cost estimates with the assistance of operations and ABM

  • Service Realisation Procedures
  • Improvement and Corrective Action
  1. Communication
  • Ensuring client contracts are operated in accordance with the set budget
  • Interact and coordinate with the sales and operational teams working on the same account.
  • Working with operations on analysis and reconciliation of WIP on a monthly basis.
  • Providing monthly Sales Reserve figures to finance team
  1. Planning and organising
  • Ensures profitability of contracts
  • Ensures smooth mobilisation of contracts
