DICOTA has been under the leadership of the three new owners since March 2013: Ruedi Nauer (CEO/CMO), Stephan Meyer (CPO) and Michael Mühlenbruch (CSO). The new management is delighted with the first few months since the management buyout and is setting clear targets.
The three owner-managers know their customers and the market personally and have done so for years. This means, that they have a totally different basis for making decisions compared to the previous owners, a large global organisation. This is noticeable everywhere: decision-making channels are shorter, processes faster and more dynamic and personal commitment is greater.
The current focus is on market and product-orientated goals. From a market perspective, DICOTA wants to ensure high product availability and optimum customer service. Specialist shops remain the most important sales channel. Staffing levels have increased in the areas of sales and marketing. Logistics and merchandise management are continuously being improved. DICOTA is also expanding its market share by establishing partnerships in new countries.
On the product side, DICOTA wants to consolidate its origins: products that offer excellent protection, sophisticated functionality and high quality. These core values will continue to give the brand a competitive edge over the competition. In order to keep their promise of high quality and comply with existing standards and guidelines, on-site specialists in the production facilities carry out tests and analyses during the development and production process.A lot is planned for January 2014: new product launches, upgrading existing products which involves repositioning the entire bag range. The “tailor-made” range and the MOS range (mobile office solutions) will be strengthened and expanded. The development of tailor-made carry solutions that make work processes more efficient is DICOTA’s unique strength and offers significant market potential.
DICOTA designs and manufactures innovative, durable and stylish carrying solutions and accessories for media devices. The portfolio consists of Notebook cases, Tablet/Smartphone accessories and mobile office solutions. In addition, DICOTA also offers tailor-made project solutions; whether promotional merchandise or multi-functional carrying solutions for employees.
