EIT ICT Labs at MWC – Bringing Innovations to Life

The EIT ICT Labs is one of the first Knowledge and Innovation Communities set up by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. At MWC 2013 EIT ICT Labs presents innovations in the mobile application spaces that are in the initial stages of commercialization.

Willem Jonker, CEO of EIT ICT Labs: “EIT ICT Labs joins MWC this year to present results out of our research and business development activities. We invite users, developers, buyers, researchers, and other players in the mobile field to visit our stand and discuss the innovations presented.”

EIT ICT Labs bring together education, research and business supporting students in becoming empowered entrepreneurs, accelerating the transformation of ideas into products and services, from the labs to the marketplace.

Building on existing resources and instruments EIT ICT Labs catalyze lasting changes, establishing a more responsive configuration for education, research, and business to work together in creating significant innovations.

EIT ICT Labs demo presentations at MWC are projects and products in areas such as
Computing in the Cloud, Digital Cities of the Future, Health and Wellbeing, Intelligent Mobility and Transportations Systems, Networking Solutions for Future Media and Smart Spaces.

Representatives from the EIT ICT Labs Master School will also be on site to present the Master´s Programme in ICT Innovation and inform about the participation of industrial partners and research institutes.
