Projectplace strengthens collaboration excellence with new visual identity and logo

Press release   •   Apr 02, 2014 07:05 UTC

Projectplace, a leading provider of team and project collaboration tools, today launches a new brand logo and visual identity, reflecting the company’s commitment to excellence in collaboration.

The new visual identity is inspired by the company’s mission to empower people to collaborate and reach their goals. It features a new brand logo, based on a playful cloud-shaped graphic element, emphasizing Projectplace’s leading position as a cloud vendor; People-oriented and user friendly, but also technology-driven and powerful. The new look will be implemented in the Projectplace and ToDo platforms, as well as offline.

“Projectplace pioneered software-as-a-service 16 years ago. We are a well-known brand for cloud-based collaboration, but we have also evolved a lot as a company since then,” said Johan Zetterström, CEO of Projectplace. “Staying true to our mission to help users excel through collaboration, we needed a new expression that visualizes this evolution and represents the level of collaboration excellence our brand embodies today.”

Staying true to its commitment to cloud collaboration, the Projectplace journey has recently been picking up in pace. The company has just launched ToDo, a free version of its powerful tool. The Projectplace user base continues to grow steadily, approaching the 1 million user milestone. The company established operations in the UK in 2013 and invested in its local German and Danish branches.

As part of the visual identity update, a new logo has also been developed – shaped as a cloud.

“We are simply staying true to who we are and what our customers and employees believe about us,” said Zetterström. “What better way to show our commitment to collaboration in the cloud than with a cloud itself?”

The new visual identity has been developed entirely in-house by a cross-organizational task force.
