We are currently looking for a technical account manager from a critical engineering or datacentre background for 3 sites in Enfield, Slough and Hayes.
Responsible for the day to day running of the M&E building services, organising the site team and supply chain in order to meet contractual outputs and objectives
Maintain customer relations including progress meeting, site visits, and obtaining referrals
Managing & having full accountability for the P&L and maintaining agreed profit margins
Managing a team of M&E engineers and contract support workers effectively to maximize the performance of the company
Assist in the preparation of standard operating procedures, emergency and contingency plans
Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and regularly review the H&S policy
Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of the contract are exploited, to deliver increased turnover and profitability, and make sure that contracts are re-won on re-tender.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience
A proven track record of M&E maintenance in a data center or a similar critical environment with several years of management experience ideally working for a service provider
Experience of managing P&L, WiP and debt
Obtained a technical degree or completed an apprenticeship in either electrical or mechanical engineering
Must have strong Health & Safety experience and qualifications like IOSH or NEBOSH
Experience of handling stand-by generators, Static Switches, static UPSs and HVAC systems is a bonus
A good working knowledge of assets such as Plumbing, HVAC systems, Controls, and Refrigeration is also preferred.
This is a client facing role and candidates will need to have solid leadership, financial and technical experience, our customer is offering a very competitive salary £60K - £65K plus car allowance of £4800, bonus, pension etc.
