Altia launched a website for industrial customers and partners

Altia has launched a new website, www.altiaindustrial.com, for industrial customers and partners. The new site gathers all Altia’s industrial services and products in one place. The site also provides information for Finnish farmers who produce raw material, high-quality barley, for Altia.

Altia Industrial Services represents around 25 % of the Altia Group’s net sales. Product and service offering includes barley starch for use as a binding agent in the paper and paperboard industries and as a raw material in the food industry, barley alcohol for beverage industry, as well as technical ethanols and solvents to meet the needs of a wide range of industries and Naturet geothermal fluids for geothermal heating. Altia Industrial Services also offers a broad range of contract manufacturing services for alcoholic beverage industry and for producers and retailers of ethanol and solvent products.

Together with Altia's alcoholic beverage operations, Altia Industrial Services improves the efficiency of the use of raw materials and production and logistics capacity.

Previously Altia has provided separate online services for its industrial customers, but now the company wanted to gather its webstore and online services easily under the same site. This makes it easier to provide information about industrial services and products and helps Altia to improve its customer service.

The site is in Finnish, English and Swedish.
