Freespace Challenge!” Lets People Discover Freespace Fest, Have Fun & Win Prizes

Residents of Hong Kong, along with tourists from around the world who plan on attending Hong Kong’s most innovative annual outdoor arts festival “Freespace Fest”, can now familiarise themselves with the festival, enjoy hours and hours of fun, and potentially win big prizes -- including a 128GB iPhone 6 -- by downloading the new no-cost app Freespace Challenge! from the Hong Kong West Kowloon Cultural District Authority.

Available for both iOS and Android, Freespace Challenge! lets users become a funny character named “Freeman” – complete with a wild artistic beard --- and take a virtual run along Hong Kong’s legendary West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade, which is where this year’s Freespace Fest will take place on November 22-23.

In addition to putting their reflexes to the test, users who play the arcade-style game will pass by many wild and interesting Freespace Fest characters, including musicians rocking day away, people dancing in the park, creative and unique artists, and much more. The app also features both day scenes and night scenes, which adds to the realism and excitement.

In addition, during a special competition that runs from October 22, 2014 to November 18, 2014 at 12:00pm (Hong Kong time), Freespace Challenge! players can win great prizes:

> The player who achieves the highest score will win a 128GB iPhone 6 and a Freespace Fest Golden Ticket (valued at $50).
> The player who achieves the second-highest score will win an iPad mini and a Freespace Fest Golden Ticket.
> The first 100 players will win a special Freespace Fest Tote Bag and a Freespace Fest Golden Ticket.

Contestants require a Facebook account (playing the game does not require a Facebook login), and the winners will be announced on November 18, 2014.

Freespace Challenge!, the new no-cost app that lets people discover Freespace Fest, have fun, and potentially win big prizes, is available now for iOS devices from the App Store at https://itunes.apple.com/app/freespace-challenge!/id916068318, and for Android devices from Google Play at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wkcda.freespace_challenge.
