BARTEC at ACHEMA 2015 - Pioneering Solutions for Increased Safety and Efficiency

The ACHEMA 2015 ended with an optimistic mood and more than 166,000 international visitors in Frankfurt/Germany last Friday. At the triennial world forum for the process industry, more than 3,800 exhibitors from 55 countries presented technologies and know-how for the chemical and petrochemical industries as well as the pharmaceutical and food industry.

The BARTEC Group won over the international trade public with a variety of newly-developed explosion-proof products and solutions. Since its founding in 1975, the Bad Mergentheim safety technology company has, thanks to its innovative strength, become one of the world's leading providers for industries in which dangerous substances such as flammable liquids, gases and dusts occur.

Under the motto "BARTEC goes mobile", the explosion protection experts presented as a highlight a portfolio of high-quality mobile communication solutions, including a globally unique Android smartphone that is outwardly not much different from a typical consumer smartphone. However, it supports the users in increasing their productivity and efficiency significantly, as it offers, for example, the opportunity to transfer razor-sharp images of maintenance scenarios in hazardous areas by means of a self-developed video conferencing app, with a live stream whereby even the finest hairline cracks are revealed. This high quality, which BARTEC can offer on mobile, may save customers a helicopter flight on a platform or a day of production loss.
