MIBR completes the line-up for BLAST Pro Series, Istanbul

The legendary re-launched Brazilian super-team, MIBR, has just been announced as the 6th team to play BLAST Pro Series in Istanbul in September. MIBR completes the line-up of teams for the biggest esports event in Turkey ever, bringing world class Counter-Strike to the Turkish metropol.

Several of the members of the Brazilian super-team has fond memories of winning the world premiere of BLAST Pro Series in Copenhagen in front of a full house with 12.000 cheering fans and millions watching online and on TV around the globe.

Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, in-game leader of MIBR and winner of BLAST Pro Series with SK Gaming:

- BLAST will be awesome, and I think we will have a chance to be the crowd favorites together with Space Soldiers due to Tarik’s Turkish roots. It will be our first time in Turkey and I hope we can put up a good show and bring back the best memories from Istanbul.

- The best memories for us, of course, means winning the tournament in front of Turkey’s passionate fans to bring home the BLAST trophy!

FalleN’s teammate Tarik “tarik” Celik Istanbul is like a second home, and the Turkish-American can’t wait to play in front of the crowd in Ülker Sports Arena:

- We really look forward to attending BLAST Pro Series in Istanbul. The format is really cool and the Turks and Brazilians are both proud people and I bet together have the loudest fans you will have ever experienced.

- The two countries have had football rivalries in the past, but I know anyone can come together for a good cause, and that cause is MIBR. 

World class Counter-Strike in 5th largest esports market

MIBR joins the world's current number 1, Astralis, local heroes Space Soldiers, Swedish legends NiP, Polish giants Virtus.pro, and the Major winners Cloud9. All 6 teams will be competing live, on stage, on 29th September in a packed Ülker Sports Arena in Istanbul.

The Istanbul tournament marks the kick-off for the 2018/19 season of BLAST Pro Series with 8-10 additional stops in major international cities to be announced over the coming months.

BLAST Pro Series, Istanbul will be streamed globally on Twitch, while also shown live on linear TV in at least 70 countries on 5 continents.

The tournament is played 28th and 29th September with the decisive group stage games and the final played in Ülker Sports Arena on 29th September.
