Carlsberg’s UEFA EURO 2012™ Mobile App Hits 2,012,000 Downloads!

The Carlsberg UEFA EURO 2012™ app has now reached 2,012,000 downloads. Football fans have been downloading the app in their masses to ensure that they can keep up to date with all the UEFA EURO 2012™ news and get closer to the action.
Fans can use the Carlsberg app to vote for the winner of the Carlsberg Man of the Match Award live during every game of the tournament. Since the opening game on Friday 8 June, fans from around the world have been stepping up and voting for the player most deserving of the Carlsberg Man of the Match title. So far the fans vote has awarded the honour to the likes of European football stars including Andrés Iniesta (ESP), Mesut Özil (GER) and Robert Lewandowski (POL).
Fans can still download the Carlsberg UEFA EURO 2012™ app for free from the iTunes, Google Play and Chrome Web stores under the name ‘UEFA EURO 2012™ by Carlsberg’ and is available for iPhone, iPad, Android and Google Chrome. Developed in partnership with Motain, leader in sports publishing and creator of some of the most popular European football apps on the market, the app is now available in over 100 countries and has been number one in app store sports sections in over 20 countries.
As well as voting for the Carlsberg Man of the Match Award, users have also been enjoying live match commentary, a range of constantly updating football statistics, a bar finder and bar challenge quiz that can be played with friends, as well as exclusive football content featuring Carlsberg’s global ambassador Peter Schmeichel.
