Cibes A5000 in a unique architectural environment; Louvre Abu Dhabi

Louvre Abu Dhabi is an ambitious cultural project with a unique identity, defined by its profound commitment to discovery, openness and education. A prestigious building project to which Cibes had the privilege of delivering two luxury platform lifts, Cibes A5000, in stainless steel. The project was carried out in partnership with Otis L.L.C. in Dubai.

The Cibes A5000 has been developed with a focus on maximum comfort and design, and the result is a cutting-edge platform lift that easily will blend into the architectural environment. The outstanding screw-and-nut driving system and a construction with its own steel shaft make Cibes A5000 to the number one solution for desired accessibility.

The Emirates of Abu Dhabi has drawn on the expertise of the French museum world to create a major new art museum. In a joint agreement signed in 2007, the governments of the United Arab Emirates and France took a decision to create a universal museum, bearing the name Louvre Abu Dhabi, scheduled to open in December 2015.

Building work for Louvre Abu Dhabi, designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel, is underway on Saadiyat Island. Conceived as a living museum, the complex is built directly over the water, protected from the heat and sand by a vast cupola.
