EIT Digital at Innovative City - European digital innovations to meet smart citizens’ needs
The European open innovation organisation EIT Digital will showcase, for the first time, some of its digital innovations to meet smart citizens’ needs, at Innovative City in Nice on June 24 and 25 2015.
Influence your city decision-making? Explore all touristic information at a glance? Get hyper local and precise weather information in real time?... At the time of instantaneity, big data, open data, social networks, mobility, sharing, citizens get impatient and new needs appear
In order to help smart cities meet these new needs, 9 digital innovations will be showcased by the Urban Life & Mobility Action Line of EIT Digital, at Innovative City on June 24 and 25.
These innovations, all supported by the European organisation, were made in an entrepreneurial mind-set by:
- not only European start-ups (Localidata, PlugSurfing, wezzoo, Vulog) from Madrid, Berlin, Paris and Nice,
- but also multidisciplinary and international projects teams of partners (FlashPoll, Connecting Digital Cities, ProtoWorld, 3cixty, cityOmeters).
All entrepreneurs will be on stand #26. Beyond their interactions with visitors, they will pitch their innovation for 10 minutes and answer questions (see programme).
