Elmo Sweden honored for excellent quality performance

On 27th November Elmo Sweden AB was awarded the prestigious Volvo Cars Quality Excellence Award, within the Interior segment. The ceremony took place at the Volvo Cars' headquarter in Gothenburg.

Elmo is proud to be recognized as a VQE partner by Volvo and to work in partnership with Volvo Cars to provide the high-quality products expected by Volvo customers.

The VQE Award is a set of fundamental quality and manufacturing standards, supporting a supplier's success by detailing what is expected of them and supports them to achieve continious improvement. The reward for improving quality and maintaining VQE status is the recognition that the supplier's facility is the best in the business.

Elmo Sweden was represented at the ceremony by John Olsson, Sales & Marketing Manager, and David Hagström, Customer Quality Manager.

Collecting the award, David Hagström commented: "We are honored and delighted being the first manufacturer of leather ever to be awarded such a prestigious award as Volvo Cars Quality Excellence Award. It is a testimony to our hard work and the quality focus that embody the entire organization. Needless to say this award will encourage us to continue to improve our quality performance in the future."
