Empower IM targets to Nordic Energy Markets with new Managing Director

Empower IM Oy continues its growth strategy to become a leading service provider in the Nordic energy market. As a step in this strategy, the management of Empower IM Oy is strengthened with experience from international ICT services. 

Mr. Mika Yletyinen (47) will start as Managing Director of Empower IM Oy on the 1st of September, 2014. Mika joins us from Intel Security / McAfee (formerly Stonesoft Oyj), before this he has worked in Tieto Corporation and Nokia Corporation (Networks). He has long experience in international ICT business. Mika’s main task is to execute the Nordic growth strategy.

Empower IM Oy has revised its composition of the Board of Directors. Empower group’s CEO Eero Auranne continues as the chairman of the board. Mika Yletyinen will report to Eero Auranne. Bo Elisson and Kristofer Runnquist from Sweden have been nominated as new members of the board.

Antti Ruokonen ends his assignment as head of Empower IM Oy. During his two year period, Empower IM has gained a healthy financial position and built a foundation for the Nordic growth.
Antti belongs to Empower’s core top-management team reporting to the CEO. Antti has already taken new leadership position within Empower group, where he currently heads the Telecom Network Division.
