Empower strengthens its position as partner supplier for Elenia power network services

Empower PN Oy, a part of Empower Group, and power distribution company Elenia Oy have signed a significant partnership agreement on building and maintaining Elenia’s distribution network for 2017–2019. The value of the agreement for Empower is more than €20 million. It also includes two two-year options.

The agreement covers design, construction and maintenance services for the power distribution network, fault repair services and substation maintenance services.

“This extensive partnership agreement is a significant strategic step for Empower's services for power distribution networks. The extended agreement period adds a long span to our operations and offers excellent opportunities to develop services together with Elenia”, says Timo Kiiveri, President of Empower PN Oy.

Empower has previously worked as Elenia's contract partner in similar services, and now the service will be expanded to a total of five contractual areas in Häme and Central Finland.
