What is the Fiberworks Ultra High Density CWDM Solutions?

Fiberworks is introducing a new, ultra compact CWDM multiplexer solution. This multiplexer is functionally identical to our 8+1-mux. It covers all CWDM channels from 1470 nm to 1610 nm. In addition the ultra compact mux has a 1310 nm wideband upgrade port used for 8 CWDM-channels in the lower band, or existing equipment on 1310nm. The added monitor ports ensures easy troubleshooting without downtime.

You can fit 5 modules in our standard 1U chassis. In a 2U chassis you can fit 12 modules. There is also the possibility of so called «0U mounting», which allows the mux to be mounted outside the rack.
