CURVED FIT - Fjällräven launches new generous cut on popular outdoor trousers

Women looking for comfortable outdoor trousers with a fit that allows more freedom of movement now have a wider choice. For the summer of 2015 Fjällräven is introducing Curved Fit on popular trouser models. Övik Trousers Curved W and Nikka Trousers Curved offer a little extra room over the rear and thighs and a slightly more accentuated waist, for a perfect fit on curvy figures.


With Curved Fit, Fjällräven meets a request from female users who have been asking after trousers for curvy figures. Curved Fit has a more generous cut with a little extra room over the rear and thighs, while at the same time having a slightly more accentuated waist than other trousers. This gives a more comfortable pair of trousers that sits better on curvy figures, without restricting movement, bunching or leaving a gap of excess fabric at the back of the waist.

The popular Övik and Nikka are the first two models being offered with Curved Fit. The traditionally cut models will remain in the range. Both models come with raw length leg endings that can be adjusted to fit individual needs, and both have a waist that is slightly higher at the back to sit comfortably when wearing a backpack.

With the new cut, Fjällräven once again asserts its position as an outdoor specialist with a trousers system that serves a wide range of outdoor needs. Curved Fit complements the already existing Regular Fit with a classic cut and Comfort Fit with a wider cut. Different waist heights are also offered – High, Regular/Mid and Low – and some models come with raw length that can be individually adapted to fit individual leg length.

Övik Trousers Curved W and Nikka Trousers Curved are available in stores from spring 2015.
