First New York and Amsterdam - now Fjällräven is taking on Oslo

After the successful opening of stores in New York and Amsterdam, Fjällräven has chosen to open their third brand center in Oslo.“Norway is one of the world’s leading outdoor countries and it seems like the obvious next step to offer our full range of products in one of Oslo's best locations," says Martin Axelhed, Fjällräven’s CEO.

After the success of the flagship stores in Amsterdam and New York, outdoor company Fjällräven has now decided to invest in Norway. A 310m2 store will be opening in prime position in Oslo, in the middle of Karl Johan Gate.

“We are incredibly proud to open a store in a prime position in one of the world’s leading outdoor countries. This is an important milestone for Fjällräven,” says Fjällräven’s CEO Martin Axelhed.

Fjällräven will be stocking the store with the majority of its product range including backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, jackets, trousers and shirts. But the aim of the store stretches further than that. They also want it to become a meeting point for outdoor people.

“In addition to offering our timeless outdoor equipment we want to inspire people to spend more time outdoors. Basically, we want to bring the city closer to the wilderness. For this reason we will be continuously offering outdoor training courses and diverse events through the store,” says Axelhed.

The store will be opening its doors on June 26th and is located at Karl Johan Gate 19.The store's furniture is made from timeless Swedish ash.
