Warming news in Fjällräven wool for fall/winter 2014

For several years, Fjällräven has worked with developing functional woollen garments and the collection has now been extended to include a new edition of the Luhkka Cape and a number of practical and versatile sweaters, shirts and accessories.

Fjällräven’s popular version of the traditional Sami garmenthas now been released in a version that belongs to the Fjällräven Numbers series. Luhkka No. 3 is made from G-1000 Eco (65 % recycled polyester and 35 % organic cotton) and is lined with exclusive Shetland wool from the renowned British cloth mill Abraham Moon. Luhkka No. 3 is reversibleand works both as an outer garment in the autumn and spring,and as a reinforcement layer over regular winter clothing. Justlike other garments in the Numbers series, it is developed tolast for a long time and have the lowest possible environmentalimpact.

Another stylish piece of news in wool is the Övik KnitSweater with its beautiful Nordic-inspired knitted patterns. Itis available in both men’s and women’s models. Sarek KnitSweater for men is an outdoor sweater made from lambswoolthat is reinforced with G-1000 on the shoulders and hasknitted patches on the elbows. As for woollen shirts, take noteof Övik Wool Shirt, made from 80% wool and 20% polyamidefor extra durability, and with a smart collar that can be held inplace with buttons when the wind is blowing. All Fjällräven'swoollen sweaters and shirts are perfect as warm middle layerson cold winter outings.
