Raw power and great comfort in new showerhead

Danish design with focus on details. Damixa's prize-winning A-Pex series now includes a shower system to match the raw yet elegant, simple style, with plenty of innovation.

The new A-Pex shower system stands out from the crowd, offering just as many functional surprises as has come to be expected from Damixa's prize-winning family. At just 40 mm in diameter, the shower head may not look like much, but it surprises with a wide and encapsulating spray that provides plenty of comfort under the shower. You can combine the soft, warm spray from above with a corresponding jet from the hand shower. A new innovation enables the user to enjoy both head and hand showers at the same time.

Other special characteristics include a showerhead in the mounted shower that can be rotated and a flexible hand shower comprising a black metal grip combined with a chrome showerhead. Both showers boast elegant, bell-shaped heads to match the classic, timeless design.

Raw yet elegant water pipe look
"With A-Pex, I have strived to design a simple, logical product filled with character, which I am especially proud of as it takes the classical elements from traditional taps and showers and combines them with new solutions and a high level of usability," says the man behind the series, Danish designer Anders Hermansen, who has also designed speakers and TVs for Danish design icon B&O.

It is worth noting the design of the shower rod itself, which continues as one single piece. Together with the shower hose in black rubber, this completes the raw, atypical 'water pipe' look that characterises the A-Pex series. This makes the shower system extremely easy to clean and maintain, which is also due to the flat rosettes, one-piece shower rod, extremely simple fitting at the thermostat and the rub-clean rubber on the shower nozzles.
