Innometrics receives 3.3M SEK Innovation Grant from VINNOVA

Innometrics, the customer data specialists, today announces that VINNOVA, Sweden’s innovation agency, has awarded the company an innovation grant of 3.3 million SEK (£300k), the highest grant allocated to a marketing technology firm in this funding round.

VINNOVA is a Swedish government agency working under the Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications with the remit to make Sweden a world-leading country in research and innovation. One way that the agency does this is to make long-term investment in strong research and innovation, investing about SEK 2.7 billion in various initiatives. For this funding round the agency has invested in 75 different companies, awarding the highest grant for a marketing technology firm to Innometrics.

Innometrics’ Profile Cloud currently enables top European brands across different industries to combine different silos of customer activity across multiple channels with existing in-house customer data and online behaviour to create one powerful, actionable, real-time profile for each customer. These profiles can then be actioned to provide personalised communications and offers to customers through a brand’s existing marketing platforms.

The grant will be used by Innometrics to create the possibility for companies to predict customer behaviour using a wide range of customer data. This predictive capability will allow companies to further improve their communication towards consumers in real-time.
