Mentice and Barrier Technologies join forces to present radiation safety solutions at SIR 2017

Mentice will be demonstrating its ‘Radiation Safety’ software, an add-on compatible with all Mentice endovascular training software modules. Running a Mentice module with this software provides live—yet fully simulated and safe—heatmap visualizations of patient and operator exposure. Other live readings include air kerma, KAP, ESD, PSD.

Barrier Technologies will be presenting its complete portfolio of Radiation Protection products, showcasing their unique Terminator XR™ body encapsulating Radiation Protective device. This device will enable Interventionalists to shed their heavy aprons in favor of a height-adjustable panel behind which they would stand.
