“In recent years, endovascular procedures, such as TAVI and EVAR, have become widespread. In the past, these conditions would have been treated by open surgery. In addition, a growing number of new, interventional techniques have been developed, for example, in the neurovascular area. Mentice, therefore, decided to develop and offer a new simulator platform which addresses both the need for strong force feedback when performing procedures as well as working with extremely small devices. To maximise usability and clinical realism, the latest Mentice Control Box is also part of the setup and, combined with a wide range of other new features, offers more efficient training to both beginners and experts.”
