Merit Operations at Brødrene Dahl in Norway.

The company Brødrene Dahl in Norway is, along with Merit, in the midst of a major upgrade project of their Infor M3 solution. At the same time there is established a collaboration and agreement within Merit Operations.

The agreement provides:

  1. Service Desk 24/7 in collaboration with Evry, where Merit is responsible for Infor M3, integrations and Merit Portal
  2. Application Monitoring - Merit follow up events and alarms, analyzes and processes in regular status meetings to ensure proactive and preventive measures.
  3. Process control, deviation control and measures of M3. Merit is responsible for control and measures in logistics, sales, purchasing and manufacturing processes.

In addition, the evaluation of process quality with proposals for actions and follow-up are a part of the deal.

The Brødr. Dahl AS company was founded in Norway in 1917 and is the leading provider of technical products in the fields of plumbing, VA and Industry. The Group has 1,350 employees and a turnover of over NOK 6 billion.

Brødr. Dahl operates in 72 locations in Norway and has several subsidiaries and export businesses. The company is part of the French industrial group Saint-Gobain. Proximity to customers is a first principle. From small, local service centers to the large central warehouse with over 200 employees that operates around the clock.

Merit’s strategy for Business Intelligence has changed.

Some of our key consultants in the field left us on September 1st for Sigma Group. Through a strategic agreement, Merit and Sigma will continue to develop Merit Intelligence Portal. Merit will invest in the field in terms of product development and consulting, whilst the partnership with Sigma will ensure continuity and capacity.

Strategy and measures

Merit will continue to add value to new clients and deliver at high quality level to our existent customers. We will continue to fortify Merit Portal by expanding the product, increase our knowledge with more consultants working with BI and through new recruitment.

The new strategy will create some changes for the clients. We will be able to offer more consultants and sharpen our product development against M3 database. There will be greater opportunities to make changes, which will provide better focus, capacity and creativity. In addition, we will, in the long term, strengthen our products for the future.

Systems and processes

Merit wishes to provide our clients with product security that they are handled in the best possible way. Our foundation for good management is the monitoring systems linked to Merit Support.

Merit Support ensures that we have control of tasks and duties defined by the customer and Merit in cooperation. The systems provide customers with the ability to also define the task using a structured format. The basis is the foundation of the issues handled, communicated and shared between the customer and Merit. It ensures continuity, visibility and control over what to be done and at the right time. Merit will undertake the resources to handle the missions in collaboration with Sigma Group.

Merit Portal Intelligence 4.0 is available for installation. The ownership of Merit Portal Intelligence falls under our development department which will be improved to ensure the further development of Merit Portal.

ACCO BRANDS – Upgrades to M3 13.2

Acco have signed a contract with Merit for the secure delivery of their M3 13.2 project “Transform”, covering project management and delivery, business consulting, technical consulting and Merit Portal products.

Merit has been hired to boost the project team, and secure to go-live on July 6th 2015.

Estonian Air - New Aviation Customer for Merit

Merit Consulting Sweden continues to increase its presence in the aviation industry, this time with the airline company Estonian Air. With Estonian Air as a new customer, Merit will take over support and management for a MRO system named Aura, a product from the US Company Miro.

Estonian Air was founded in 1991, is owned by the Estonian state and the SAS Group and a member of IATA (the International Air Transport Association) since 1992. Estonian Air’s home base is Tallinn Airport. In 2012 the airline carried altogether 887 563 passengers, out of which 886 003 on regular flights. Estonian Air employs around 200 people.

Merit has incrementally developed the business area Aviation, and we are pr. today nearly 20 consultants with extensive product and operational knowledge in Aviation. In addition, we offer smart solutions for integration with both the aviation industry and aviation safety authorities. We have built our own applications in mobile logistics and BI solutions within the framework of Merit Portal.
