Merit Operations at Orkla

Orkla is the leading supplier of branded consumer goods and concept solutions to the grocery sector, out-of-home sector and bakeries. Orkla mainly operates in the Nordics and the Baltics. The Group also holds a good position in selected product categories in Central Europe and India. The Branded Consumer Goods industry involves four business areas: Orkla Foods, Orkla Confectionery & Snacks, Orkla Home & Personal and Orkla Food Ingredients. Orkla also has operations under the Orkla Investments business area; which consists of Hydro Power, real estate and financial assets, in addition to the Group’s investments in Sapa (JV) (50% interest) and Jotun (42.5% interest).

To support the companies in the Orkla Group that are using Infor M3 as a business solution in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Orkla and Merit have signed a contract for Merit Operations. The contract focuses on Merit Application Monitoring and Merit Application Support. Merit is responsible for all the support needed for the Infor M3-users in the Orkla organization. In addition, the system monitors the uptime and availability of the M3-solution.

Merit Application Monitoring is a basic model that monitors the key areas within Infor M3. The solution provides control over the M3 core system and its subsystems. It also monitors integrations, performance management and any Merit Portal product.

Merit Application Support consists of several support services and provides a structured approach to the daily collaboration between clients and Merit.
