Merit Sommersamling 2015

Since the beginning of 2004, Merit Norway has invited customers to the annual "Merit Summer Event". This client conference is the perfect meeting place to establish new, and maintain old, relationships and share experiences. The conference is also a forum for the clients to receive new information from Merit about the future, new products as well as challenges and opportunities in the ERP industry.

The Summer Event is conducted at various locations in Norway with Merit's various subsidiaries as geographical basis.

The Merit Summer Event of 2015 was held on September 8th and 9th at Holmenkollen in Oslo. 45 people from 20 different companies participated. Glorious September weather made the event an enjoyable experience for the participants.

The theme “upgrading” was central in the program. The Norweign children´s furniture company

Stokke was invited to share their experiences with upgrading their M3 solution to version 13.2, and the participants also received input about Merit's project methodology and Merit Migration Factory. The latest news about Merit Portal, tips & tricks about Infor Enterprise Search and Mashups was also on the agenda. Finally, Oskar Sylte Mineral water talked about their experiences with Merit Operations.

In addition to the Merit Summer Event, Infor introduced, "Infor on the road" where Björn Torold, (Technical Solution Consultant, Infor) presented technical innovations in Infor M3 13.3. In addition, Arild Aasgaard (Senior Business Consultant, Infor) gave an update on new functionality in the solution. Finally, we heard about Infor M3 Upgrade Factory and The Infor Upgrade X Program.

After two eventful days, both Merit and the clients agreed that the upgrading and the future development of M3 is highly applicable.
