NorSea Group (NSG) standardizes and streamlines their business processes with Merit Consulting.

In the beginning of 2015 NorSea Group (NSG) signed an extensive SW and project delivery contract with Merit Consulting and Infor. The aim is to standardize and streamline their business processes within a one fully integrated ERP solution, consisting of Infor M3 and Merit Portal.

NSG has used various solutions on their different bases, which to a certain point have been linked together. In addition manual processes and semi-integraded (or intergrated)“small solutions” have been used within the local solutions.

In 2015 NSG signed two comprehensive key agreements with large and demanding companies where the requirement was that system, routines and organization focus on LEAN (continuous improvement) as one of the objectives. This new ERP solution will be a contribution for NSG in their LEAN work. It will also play an important role when it comes to the international expansion that NSG Is facing.

In 2014 NSG chose Merit to do a pre study in collaborations in competition with other ERP vendors. The requirement was to show understanding for NSG as a company and to provide a standard solution without major modifications.

Before the pre study NSG announced a naming contest, where the name CAN was chosen:

The CAN project is now up and running and is characterized by constructive and good cooperation between the NSG, Infor and Merit. "Go live" for the first companies is scheduled to april 2016 and the other base companies will follow during 2016
