Nautisk and Korean Environmental Technology Institute set to announce partnership at Kormarine

A partnership between global maritime navigation expert Nautisk and Korea Environmental Science & Technology Institute (KESTI) is to be announced at the Marine Week – Kormarine, Naval & Defence, Sea-Port 2017 exhibition taking place this week.

KESTI provides technology services to several Korean governmental agencies involved in the oceanic, environmental and military sectors and, through the new partnership, will offer Nautisk’s wide range of digital navigation products and services to their regional market.

Nautisk Head of New Business Development, Simon Gliddon, said: “We are very pleased to be partnering with KESTI, enabling our digital navigation products to be made available to the South Korean maritime market. KESTI has a strong digital and technological focus, which compliments our own competencies. We are looking forward to working together with KESTI to successfully bring digital to the forefront of the south Asian commercial shipping sector.”

KESTI will be exhibiting at Kormarine, Naval & Defence, Sea-Port 2017 taking place in Busan, South Korea from 24-27 October. Nautisk’s NaviTab™ and NaviPlanner™ products will both be on display on the stand.
