Beatrice Fihn at the Nobel Peace Center

Close to a year ago, Executive Director Beatrice Fihn was in Oslo to receive the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize on behalf of ICAN, the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons. On Tuesday, November 13, Fihn will be back in Oslo. She will participate in a panel discussion at the Nobel Peace Center about the nuclear weapons ban and what role Norway can and should play.

They will discuss Norway’s role on the international stage of politics, hostile rhetoric between superpowers, and the possible nuclear threat. They will also discuss the Nobel Peace Prize and what the prize has contributed to the ban the bomb campaign. The moderator for the panel discussion will be Ingerid Salvesen, political journalist from the Norwegian podcast Du Verden.

The event will begin at 20:00, and last until 21:00. Press and media are welcome.
