Democratic values at risk
In collaboration with Global Dignity, the Nobel Peace Center invites to seminar and panel discussion. H.R.H The Crown Prince of Norway will moderate the debate.
The world wide organization Global Dignity has its Annual Country Chair Meeting in Norway 27–29 April. In that connection, Global Dignity and the Nobel Peace Center invite to a seminar about how we can hold on to fundamental human values in a time of extremism, polarization and conflict.
Key Note Speakers are Sven Mollekleiv, President of The Norwegian Red Cross and Chairman of Global Dignity Norway, Lars Gule, Norwegian philosopher, social commentator and associate professor at Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences, Anine Kierulf and Pekka Himanen, Co-Founder of Global Dignity and Finnish philosopher:
After the introductions, a panel discussion will be led by H.R.H. Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, who is Global Dignity Country Chair for Norway. In the panel, Gule, Kierulf and Himanen will be accompanied by Phuti Mahanyele, Executive Chairman of Sigma Capital and Global Dignity Country Chair for South Africa. The programme will finish at app. 19.00.
