op5 introduces new Product Manager Christian Nilsson

After last year’s significant growth for the company and following the introduction of their latest service op5Live, Swedish monitoring software pioneers op5 have appointed a new Product Manager, Christian Nilsson. Christian will oversee op5Live, op5’s mobile apps and 3rd party integrations as well as product packaging and APIs.

“I’m excited to be stepping into this new role and look forward to the cool new innovations that we have in store for our users,” said Christian. “I’ve worked closely with op5’s client base for many years so I have a unique perspective when it comes to development decisions.”

Christian started at op5 in 2006 as a consultant, taking part in hundreds of implementations and training classes on-site at many of op5’s clients. He was also on the Product Planning Board and helped build and prioritize the company’s product development roadmap. When op5’s Professional Services team was introduced, Christian took a new role, first as Team Leader then Manager. His continued direct contact with customers has given him a great advantage: he knows exactly what op5 users want and he is able to identify simple but smart solutions based on their needs.

“With 9 years at op5, a great number of small and large direct installations and experience with integration projects for all kinds of different enterprises, Christian was the ideal person to step up as our newest Product Manager,” said Jan Josephson, CTO for op5. “He knows our core products inside and out, excels at strategic planning and his technical competencies make him our “go to guy” for cloud-related solutions.”

In the last year, op5 has launched a series of new services, apps and solutions, culminating in the introduction of their newest innovation, op5Live. These solutions were developed to meet the challenge of unified monitoring for the new generation of hybrid IT that is the fastest growing enterprise segment today. Gartner predicts that 50 percent of large enterprises will have hybrid cloud deployments by the end of 2017 (Report 2599315).

op5Live is intended for non-technically inclined users who want to easily monitor their websites, 3rd party services or networks, without needing to set up complicated configurations.
