The maintenance system at Vuosaari Harbour won an award

The maintenance information system of Vuosaari Harbour won first prize in the Bentley Be Inspired competition in the Innovation in Government category.
It involves a comprehensive system where the maintenance log, document archive, map user interface and design software have been integrated to work together using WebService technology.
“The system maintains the documents, maintenance schedules and maintenance histories of buildings, structures and systems at Vuosaari Harbour,” says Esa Salonen, the IT Manager of the Port of Helsinki. In addition to port personnel, the system is used by maintenance providers from various companies.
