Kimmo Mäki is the new Managing Director

The Helsinki City Council has elected Kimmo Mäki (MSc Eng.) as the new Managing Director of the Port of Helsinki. Mäki has earned his spurs for the position with his versatile experience in the port and logistics sectors, includ-ing operator, export and logistics duties.

Kimmo Mäki assumes the position on 1 October 2011. Heikki Nissinen, the current Managing Director of the Port of Helsinki, will leave the position at the end of September by first going on holiday and then retiring on 1 April 2012.
